This is evident in the architecture of the city center streets, which present an ideal route to visit the Cathedral, the museums, and the Bastidas Boardwalk, where you can also enjoy a romantic sunset.

Arrival at Matecaña Airport in Pereira, meet and greet, and transfer to and from the chosen hotel in the Coffee Zone. Check-in and accommodation. *Notes: For evening transfers, the time applies to flights between 9:00 pm and 6:30 am. Rates are set for daytime transfers; a surcharge applies for nighttime transfers.
Breakfast. Meet your Spanish-speaking guide at the starting point and travel to the quaint town of Filandia. Here, we'll stroll through its colonial streets, visit the Quindío viewpoint (entry included, note: closed on Mondays or on Tuesdays if Monday is a holiday in Colombia), stop at a basket-making workshop, and enjoy a drink and dessert at a local restaurant. Next, we'll head to the Valle del Cocora to admire its beautiful scenery. Upon arrival, we're greeted with a welcoming cocktail (canelazo) and a specialized Cocora eco-guide who introduces us to the Cocora Natural Reserve. A walk leads us to the misty forest, showcasing the biodiversity of the area, followed by the ecological path of the world's tallest wax palm, Colombia's national tree. Here we'll participate in the ritual of the Quindío wax palm, learning about its history and significance to the indigenous people. We then proceed to plant wax palm seedlings. We'll then transfer to the traditional town of Salento for a walking tour through its colonial streets, artisan workshops, and the Cocora viewpoint. At the agreed time, we'll be assisted and taken back to the starting point.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, a Spanish-speaking guide will take you to the Hacienda San Alberto in the Quindío department. On this journey, admire the UNESCO-declared Coffee Cultural Landscape. Start with a welcoming coffee drink, explore the hacienda, learn about the coffee process, and engage in a semi-professional coffee tasting session. Wrap up with a farewell coffee drink.

Breakfast. A representative will meet you at your hotel to begin a tour of Comuna 13. Here, engage with the history, politics, and aesthetics of the area, learning about its transformation through street art. Enjoy local gastronomy at Asados La 80. The tour continues with a panoramic exploration of key city landmarks like Nutibara Hill, the Botanical Garden, the Explora Park, and the open-air sculptures of renowned artist Fernando Botero.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a journey to the eastern part of the department, passing through towns such as Marinilla and the Nuevo Peñol. Visit the Peñol rock, a massive 220-meter high stone, and the town of Guatapé, known for its vibrant, decorative baseboards.
After breakfast at the hotel, explore Medellín's shopping destinations, renowned for their diverse offerings from fabrics and designer clothes to lingerie and shoes.
Breakfast. On your last day before heading home, make sure to take home the best memories.
